The new Taranto Swimming Stadium, a 12,000 sqm facility designed for the Mediterranean Games 2026, is conceived as an urban landmark inspired by the city’s bastions and integrated into the coastal landscape, featuring two 50-metre Olympic pools (indoor and outdoor), stands for international competitions, and community-oriented spaces within a sustainable system connecting the city, the sea, and green areas.
